my grandfather...

during World War II. he put this album together of priceless photos of when he was in africa, italy, and france building bridges that were destroyed by the war. he never talked about the war... he didn't have to. he had his book to recall the memories some good, some not so good. i just find this book simply breathtaking. it's something you have to experience in real life .... my photos don't do its justice.

he burnt the eagle into the wood cover by hand. 


every page was so delicate. the paper has seen better days.
